Mission Statement

Allied Arts Association began in 1947 as a group of individuals committed to sharing their knowledge of art with friends and the larger community. Allied Arts exists to:

• further community interest in various forms of visual art through exhibits
• offer educational opportunities in visual art for the community through workshops, demonstrations, lectures, exhibits, and critiques,
• encourage local artists to produce, improve, and present their work to the public,
• cooperate with other groups in furthering art appreciation and building creative standards,
• encourage and assist young people with artistic expression.
