September 1 - October 2
Reception and Award Presentation September 13, 1-3 pm
Artist Kimberly Camp's passion has spanned almost four decades and has produced over 100 exhibitions throughout the United States. From solo exhibits in the Smithsonian Institute and the American Craft Museum, her works have served to inspire and narrate by" embracing the human figure through abstraction and realism in celebration of personal familiy members and ancestral images." Her one-of-a-kind doll sculptures make use of a multitude of materials from polymer to lambswool, from silver to shells. Her dramatic paintings are also featured this month.
This is a special photo from the show's reception. The artist, Kimberly Camp, is on the left with Irene Curtis, her model for the painting behind them titled "Irene."
