Some of these pieces started life as a stack of recyled Tri-City Herald newspapers. Sculptor James Blackburn Craig adds adhesive to the paper pulp to form a durable textural medium.

Craig is an Assistant Professor of Art at Columbia Basin College. His artwork is featured in several permanent museum collection and personal and corporate collections. Visit the gallery this month to see more of these intriguing pieces.
