Karen Defferding - of Kennewick, WA received the 2005 Bette Szulinski award for her beautiful hand-dyed and painted silk scarves. She is an accomplished watercolorist, but has recently started painting oils en plain air again. Karen's pieces in this month's show include watercolors, acrylics, and small oil paintings.


Sharon Laegreid - of Richland, WA is known for her graphic, contemporary watercolors using the "wipe out" technique to depict figures in stark interiors. She uses this modern style as well as traditional transparent watercolor style in her art. Her exhibit includes a variety of styles and subjects.


Vinosus Handmade - is a collection of distinctive contemporary jewelry created by Marty Kneeland and Brit Simone of Tacoma. They use a variety of metals including 18 karat gold, 14 karat gold, sterling silver, blackened silver, and copper. Their stunning designs are then embellished with diamonds, pearls, and gemstones. This beautiful blend of metals and gems creates wearable artwork suitable for men and women for any occasion.
